Reflection to Renewal🦋
Happy December—the final chapter of the year and a perfect time to pause and reflect on the journey that has brought you to this moment.
Close your eyes for a moment. Take a deep breath in … filling your lungs and entire body with life and healing oxygen … hold it in ... part your lips, and sigh it out, relax your shoulders and unclench your jaw.
Repeat this twice more, letting the breath bring you into stillness, ease and presence.
As you continue to breathe consciously, let yourself reflect: Who were you 3 months ago? 6 months ago? 9 or even 12 months ago? How have you grown, shifted, or transformed? What has changed?
Amid the hustle and bustle of this hectic season, give yourself permission to step back. Pause abundantly, reflect deeply, and connect with your inner Self.
Take time to honor what worked well—the moments that brought joy, peace, and alignment with your heart. Celebrate the victories, no matter how small. But equally, acknowledge the moments that felt difficult and heavy—the experiences that brought pain, discomfort, and drained your energy.
These reflections, both uplifting and challenging, hold the wisdom of your journey. They reveal the patterns, lessons, and truths that shape where you stand today.
What are you still clinging to? What conversations or narratives continue to replay in your mind, perhaps long past their time? What is taking up real estate in your mind that no longer serves you, stealing your peace and energy? What is occupying space in your life that no longer aligns with who you are becoming, or what you truly need or desire?
It's time to ask yourself, What am I ready to release to make room for the new, for growth, and for peace? Embrace this process with grace, knowing that release invites clarity and new possibilities.
Reflect on what you’re ready to release in order to make room for new possibilities, growth, and peace. This might mean letting go of unhealthy environments—like a toxic job, negative relationships, or spaces that feel chaotic, such as cluttered closets or garages. It could also involve clearing out old habits, outdated beliefs, or possessions that no longer serve you. Releasing what no longer aligns with your goals or brings you peace creates space for what truly supports your well-being and growth in the year ahead.
Planting the seed of intention is the first step, but remember, change doesn’t always happen overnight or have a set deadline. Allow your heart to guide you toward what’s true and real, and trust that with time, the space you need for transformation will naturally unfold.
As I reflect on this past year, I feel like it can be symbolized by the caterpillar’s transformation during its chrysalis phase, ultimately emerging as a beautiful butterfly. Recognizing my worth and value has been paramount to my ability to set boundaries and speak my truth.
This year has been about shedding the old, embracing growth, and stepping into a new version of myself—one that stands in confidence, authenticity, and is ready to soar to infinite heights. With each lesson learned and each challenge faced, I feel myself becoming more aligned with my true essence, trusting in the beauty of the unfolding journey.
Just as a caterpillar goes through a period of struggle and discomfort in its chrysalis, we too face growing pains as we shed old layers and step into a new version of ourselves. The caterpillar's journey is one of patience, surrender, and trust in the process, even though the struggle might feel overwhelming at times.
These growing pains are a natural part of the transformation. They push us beyond our comfort zones, breaking down the old to make way for the new. The discomfort we feel in these moments is often a sign that we are evolving, just as the caterpillar’s painful metamorphosis signals its eventual emergence as a butterfly.
In our own lives, embracing this growth means honoring the challenges, setbacks, and discomforts as essential pieces of the larger picture—each moment building toward something beautiful and transformative. As we grow and evolve, we too will emerge from our chrysalis, lighter, freer, and more aligned with who we are meant to become.
Whether the experiences were good, bad, or messy, remember we are always exactly where we are meant to be. Sometimes, it takes patience, acceptance, and grace to simply allow ourselves to BE and TRUST where we are headed. Allow yourself moments of stillness to envision the growth, expansion, joy, and abundance you wish to invite into the coming year. Let December be a bridge that gracefully carries you from reflection to renewal 🦋
“Everything that’s happening for you and through you, is always leading you where you are meant to be.
Every detour, every direction is a gift opening space.
Every experience is your soul receiving the maturation, growth, joy or freedom that it called.
Every moment, event is divine. Everything is orchestrated for your highest good.”
Each dawn brings new potential—a chance to welcome fresh connections, experiences, and landscapes—while the dusk gently sweeps away what is outdated, expired, or no longer aligned. The ebb and flow of life fascinates me, constantly reminding me to trust the process, especially when disappointments sting and losses ache.
I hold close the belief that God has a plan, one far greater than I can imagine, and it’s a plan I trust with all my heart. Recently, I came across these words: "Stay genuine, and everything will naturally reciprocate or remove itself." They landed like a whisper to my soul—a message I needed to hear, and perhaps you do too. Trusting in this truth invites peace and faith, even in the midst of change, closed doors and goodbyes.
By being true to yourself, you attract people and experiences that align with your values while naturally releasing those that don’t. It’s a reminder to trust the process—authenticity fosters genuine connections and clears space for what truly belongs in your life.
As we move into the new season, let us carry with us the trust that all is unfolding as it should, even when the path isn’t clear. Each shift, challenge, and letting go brings us closer to the truth of who we are meant to become. In embracing what is meant for us with an open heart, we learn to trust more fully and step into each new moment with faith and grace.
May we all continue to welcome what serves our highest good and release what no longer aligns, knowing that we are always guided by a greater plan.
